Field Superintendent

BBES Field Superintendent IconThe Field Superintendent is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the operations of jobs and ensuring that employees adhere to company policies. The Field Superintendent is also required to perform job scoping, job design, bid development, job implementation, post job follow-up and daily tickets.

  • Communicate directly with Coordinators regarding ongoing and future projects
  • Work with Supervisors to ensure reports are being done and submitted in a timely fashion
  • Ensure job can be completed as requested and note any obstacles
  • Confirm required equipment is delivered to job site
  • Ensure proper rig in/out is completed in a safe and efficient manner
  • Report any mechanical failures and provide plan to repair or replace
  • Train, mentor and assign job tasks to Supervisors
  • Ensure safety procedures and requirements are adhered to
  • Monitor, measure and report on progress of projects
  • Deliver prompt and efficient resolution for any issues that may occur

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years long line water transfer experience in all weather conditions
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years on lease Frac operations experience
  • Able to work away from home for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Has a high attention to detail
  • Must understand line pressures and flow rates
  • Experience with load/unload stations
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years pigging experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of rig in/out procedures for water pumps and heaters
  • Understanding of paperwork required for water transfer (water logs, TFA’s, TDL’s)
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing and execution skills
  • Ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol test

  • Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Standard First Aid
